ADRIAN — Lenawee County is rolling out new marijuana safety ads, thanks to state grant dollars.
The campaign is aimed at boosting public awareness and encouraging safe use.
But the money may not be guaranteed. If lawmakers cut the program from the state budget on Oct. 1, the county could be left without reimbursement.
County officials said they are tracking which local projects might be at risk if funding disappears.
The update came during Thursday’s Accounts Payable Committee meeting.
