
MORENCI — The Morenci Fall Fest is returning this year, and it will be bigger than ever.
The Downtown Development Authority is hosting the fourth annual festival on Saturday, October 4, from 4 to 11 p.m. The event will stretch across Main Street from Summit to Baker and along North Street from Main to West Locust.
From 4 to 7 p.m., families can enjoy free activities including a petting farm, hayrides, face painting, archery, and more. Local groups and merchants will also have booths with seasonal shopping and games for kids.
Entertainment begins with an art reveal at Alley 221 at 4 p.m. and live music on the Main Stage starting at 4:30 p.m. A rock concert at the Rex Theater begins at 6:30 p.m., and the night closes with a free concert at 8 p.m.
Food will be available from local restaurants, the fire department, and food trucks. The city’s Social District will also be open until 11 p.m.
Vendor registration runs through September 15.
