ADRIAN — Lenawee County is putting a new focus on helping young people in the justice system get driver’s licenses.
The initiative is designed to remove barriers for teens who need a license to reach school, jobs, or training.
Officials said the costs will be mostly covered. About 75% of the program is reimbursed through the state’s Child Care Fund.
That makes the project more affordable for the county while still giving youth the skills they need to succeed.
