ADRIAN — The Adrian City Commission has approved a resolution to allow a new marijuana business in the city.
On Tuesday, commissioners voted to grant one Adult Use Class C Grow Permit for 1160 Treat Street LLC. The business is located at 1160 Treat Street in Adrian.
The permit gives the company approval to move forward with its plans to operate under Michigan’s adult use marijuana laws.
The resolution passed with commission approval.
The decision adds another licensed grow operation in Adrian, which has seen steady interest from marijuana-related businesses since state legalization.
