WASHINGTON — Taylor Fresh Foods has issued a voluntary recall of Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kits after undeclared allergens were found in some packages.
The recall, announced Tuesday, involves 8.3-ounce salad kits sold under the Taylor Farms brand. The company said that individual dressing packets supplied by Latitude 36 Foods were incorrectly filled with Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette. This mistake could expose consumers to undeclared sesame and soy.
The recalled product was distributed to Walmart and Kroger stores in 25 states, including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and others. Bags can be identified by code dates starting with “TFRS” and a “Best If Used By” date up to and including September 4, 2025. The codes are located in the upper right-hand corner of the package.
Consumers with sesame or soy allergies are advised not to eat the product. The company urges customers to discard affected salad kits immediately and request a refund at the place of purchase.
At this time, no illnesses have been reported. The recall does not affect other Taylor Farms products.
Consumers with questions may call the Taylor Farms customer care line at 855-455-0098, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.
