ADRIAN — A community rally is planned in Adrian to call for justice in the case of Dakota Courington.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Old Courthouse on North Main Street. Organizers say the family has approved the rally, which is meant to send a message to judges and prosecutors that residents want the case handled fairly.
Those attending are encouraged to bring posters and signs. Organizers ask that no pictures of the suspect be shown, as the focus is on Dakota.
The public rally is open to everyone, and supporters are encouraged to spread the word.
