ADRIAN — Lenawee County will hold a ribbon cutting next month to celebrate the expansion of the Maurice Spear Campus in Adrian.
The event is planned for Friday, September 26 at 2 p.m. at 2910 Airport Highway. After the ceremony, guests can tour the renovated facility and enjoy refreshments.
The project, approved by county commissioners in 2024, adds 23 new beds to the existing 66-bed facility. It also includes a new commercial kitchen that will help the Department on Aging prepare meals for older adults across the county.
County Administrator Kim Murphy said the project shows a strong commitment to serving both youth and seniors in Lenawee County.
The public is invited to attend. No RSVP is required.
