ADRIAN — The Adrian Center for the Arts will host a new art show this fall called A Colorful Dream.

The free exhibit opens Thursday, September 11, and runs through Sunday, October 12. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., or by appointment.

The interactive show is designed by fine art photographer Adrien Broom. It tells the story of a young girl as she walks through fantasy worlds, each built around a single color. Over three years, Broom built sets for every shade of the rainbow, then photographed the girl moving through each world until she reaches a rainbow scene.

The exhibit is family-friendly and is made possible by the Stubnitz Foundation.
