ADRIAN — Adrian neighbors will soon have a new way to clean up parks and share ideas about the city’s future.
City Commissioner candidate Aaron J. Chesher is launching “Our People, Our Parks,” a 10–week series of community clean-ups and conversations.
The events will be held every Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m., beginning August 24 at Island Park. Each week will take place at a different park and focus on a new topic, from youth programs to housing, safety, and transportation.
Neighbors are encouraged to bring friends and gloves. Trash bags and space for discussion will be provided.
Organizers say the goal is to keep parks clean, build community, and share ideas for Adrian’s future.
The schedule runs through October 26 at Dana Park with an open forum. For more details, residents can follow Chesher’s campaign page online.
