LANSING — A plan to honor a fallen deputy has cleared the Michigan House.
Lawmakers approved Senate Bill 70 on Thursday, which would rename part of M-34 in Hillsdale County as the Deputy Sheriff William Butler, Jr. Memorial Highway. The section runs between Pioneer Road and South Pittsford Road.
