Sandra Marie Ringman, age 79, of Adrian, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Lynwood Manor.

Born on August 14, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, Sandy was the daughter of William Addison and Uvah Irene (Brock) Smith. On February 14, 1963, she married Donald Lawrence Ringman at Bethel Baptist Church in Adrian. Together they raised two children and shared over 62 wonderful years of marriage.

A devoted homemaker, Sandy lovingly cared for her family, always cooking and baking with joy. She was a constant presence in her children’s lives, faithfully attending every event and sports game. As her children grew older, Sandy began working outside the home. She spent about ten years at Country Inn and Suites before joining Cambrian Assisted Living as a Dietary Aide, where she worked for another decade before retiring.

Sandy also dedicated herself to caring for others beyond her immediate family. She was the primary caregiver for her mother for 15 years, sharing this responsibility with her sister-in-law Vicky. Family was at the heart of Sandy’s life. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren deeply. Known for her warmth and kindness, Sandy never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.

To cherish her memory, Sandy leaves her loving husband, Don; two children, Donald (Suzanne) Ringman and Patricia Butler; two grandchildren, Ryan (Megan) Butler and Courtney (Darryl Erickson) Butler; four great grandchildren: Keirah and Kennedy Woodward, Weston Butler, Emma Erickson, as well as one more great grandchild expected in March; a brother, William (Sharon) Smith; and a sister-in-law, Vicky Cupp. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by a son, Kirk Dean Ringman; two sisters, Kay Smith and Dawn Johnston; and a niece, Kyle Rae Smith.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
