
MONROE — Monroe County Community College — which serves many students from Lenawee County — has been ranked among the top 9 percent of community colleges in the United States for 2025.
WalletHub ranked MCCC 56th out of 663 community colleges nationwide and 4th among the 23 Michigan schools.
The rankings compared schools on cost, education outcomes, and career results. WalletHub reviewed 18 factors, including tuition, student-faculty ratio, and graduation rates.
Data came from federal education sources and other public reports as of July 15.
Founded in 1964, MCCC offers affordable, student-focused education at its main campus in Monroe and the Whitman Center in Temperance.
