Jerome Joseph “Jerry” Myers, age 85, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with his family by his side under the compassionate care of Hospice of Lenawee.
Born on April 7, 1940, in Adrian, Jerry was the son of Paul and Armella (Frederick) Myers. On October 14, 1961, he married Lois E. Ferguson at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus. Together they shared over 64 years of devoted marriage.
Jerry served for many years as the general manager of Peerless Supply Company, where he was known for his dedication and leadership. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family, who always came first in his life.
A lifelong member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus, Jerry found strength and community in his faith. He was also a proud member of the Adrian Eagles. In his leisure time, Jerry enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and tending to his yard.
To cherish his memory, Jerry leaves his loving wife, Lois; a son, Keith (Cheryl) Myers; daughter, Katherine (David) DeLaCruz; four grandchildren: Nikki (Greg) Orlando, Austin (Kori) DeLaCruz, Ashley (Kevin) Long, and Chelsea (Hunter) Logan; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Paula.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Paul Jr., and five sisters, Janice, Arletta, Susan, Naomi, and Noreen.
The family will receive friends for memorial visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from noon until the memorial service begins at 2:00 pm.
