ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has moved forward with a plan to help local homeowners make needed repairs.
The board approved publishing a draft application for a Community Development Block Grant Home Rehabilitation Program and set a public hearing for Sept. 10, 2025.
If approved, the project could help about 75 eligible homeowners fix things like roofs, heating and cooling systems, and other important home repairs.
County Administrator Kim Murphy told WLEN News that the county is still in the application stage and will have more details if the funding is awarded.
The program is aimed at keeping homes safe and in good condition for people who qualify.
