ADRIAN — Lenawee County Commissioners have approved joining two new opioid settlement agreements.

The first is with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family, which is expected to bring the county about $541,500 over 15 years.

The second is with eight other drug manufacturers, including Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun, and Zydus. That settlement is expected to total about $84,600.

Both agreements were approved as part of the board’s consent agenda.
