ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has named Commissioner Kevon Martis as chair of the Bridging the Gap Opioid Subcommittee.
The subcommittee works on ways to address opioid use and its impact on the community. It brings together members from different areas, including health, law enforcement, and local government, to coordinate responses and resources.
The appointment was confirmed during this week’s Personnel/Ways and Means Committee meeting.
The group will continue meeting to develop plans and recommendations aimed at reducing opioid-related harm in Lenawee County.
