ADRIAN — More than 100 Adrian-area residents received help reinstating their driving privileges during a Road to Restoration clinic held July 31.

The event brought Michigan Department of State staff and volunteer attorneys together to provide one-on-one guidance, license status checks, and on-site services such as vision testing and the written driver’s exam.

Road to Restoration Program Director Abigayl Venman said in a press release, “The Road to Restoration program is celebrating a milestone of serving over 11,000 residents since the program first began in 2021. Thank you to all our generous supporters, sponsors and partners who made it all possible. We are determined to help thousands more by meeting them where they are and setting them off on the right path to living a successful life, safely behind the wheel.”

The program has hosted over 65 clinics since 2021 and continues statewide in August, September, and October.
