MORENCI — The Second Annual BBQ Fundraiser is set for Saturday, September 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Morenci Legion at 9010 Morenci Road.
The event is hosted to benefit Share the Warmth Shelter and will feature food catered by Jake’s Smokehouse. A silent auction is also planned.
Organizers say the goal is to provide support for local families facing homelessness. Admission details were not released, but all proceeds will support shelter operations.
The tickets are going for $20 and can be purchased by calling the shelter.
