TECUMSEH — The City of Tecumseh and its Downtown Development Authority have launched a new design project to reimagine the downtown streetscape.
The effort focuses on accessibility, sustainability, and preserving the city’s historic character. Architecture and engineering firm Jones Petrie Rafinski has been hired to lead the project.
A community survey is open through August 31 to gather input from residents, businesses, and visitors about how the downtown space is used and what improvements are needed.
Stakeholder meetings are also being scheduled, with one set for August 20 at City Hall. The city is asking those invited to RSVP by August 7.
A public workshop is planned for September 22 at 6 p.m.
More information and a link to the survey are available here.
