ADRIAN — Unofficial results show voters in Lenawee, Hillsdale, and Jackson counties have approved the Addison Community Schools operating millage proposal.
The renewal authorizes 19 mills for six years to fund day-to-day operations.
In Lenawee County’s Woodstock Township, 63 percent voted yes, with turnout at 15 percent.
Hillsdale County supported the measure with 57 percent approval, including strong support in Somerset Township.
Jackson County reported a narrow turnout of under 7 percent. The district’s voters were consolidated in Precincts 4 and 5 of Jackson’s Ward 3. Those results show the millage passed, though full vote totals for that contest were not listed in Jackson’s summary.
In local races, Hillsdale City voters selected Scott Sessions as mayor, winning just over 37 percent of the vote. This secured his primary victory.
All results remain unofficial until certified by the respective boards of canvassers.
