ADRIAN — The Adrian City Planning Commission will review the city’s updated draft zoning ordinance on Tuesday night.
The proposed ordinance includes new rules for land use, housing, signage, parking, and commercial development. It also updates zoning districts and definitions citywide.
According to city officials, the update is part of a broader effort to align Adrian’s zoning code with current planning goals and the city’s master plan.
The draft remains a work in progress until formally adopted by both the Planning Commission and City Commission.
Tuesday’s meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Adrian City Chambers. The public can attend or review the draft ordinance ahead of time on the city’s website.
If approved, the ordinance would move to the City Commission for final adoption.
