TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh City Council has approved the purchase of a new fire truck for the city’s fire department.
The 2026 Pierce Pumper Rescue will be acquired through Reliant Fire Apparatus, with financing provided by TLC Community Credit Union.
Council also approved an installment purchase agreement to fund the vehicle, authorizing the city manager and mayor to finalize the necessary documents.
The new pumper truck is expected to enhance emergency response capabilities and replace aging equipment.
The vote passed unanimously.
