TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh City Council has advanced updates to local zoning laws and approved new traffic changes on the city’s west side.
Council passed the first reading of the Ordinance, which would amend Chapter 98 of the city’s zoning code. Details of the changes are expected to be finalized in a second reading.
The council approved the Traffic Control Order in a separate vote, creating new no-parking zones on Sunset Drive near Chicago Boulevard. The changes affect both sides of the street near the intersection.
Both items passed unanimously.
