
ADA — Ada Valley Meat Company is recalling more than 1,000 pounds of fully cooked ground beef after metal was found in the product.
The recall covers frozen ready-to-eat ground beef packed on May 28 and May 30, 2025, and shipped to distributors in Michigan, California, Delaware, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. Each recalled case contains four 5-pound bags labeled “Ada Valley Fully Cooked Ground Beef” with lot codes 35156 or 35157.
The issue was discovered after a consumer reported finding metal pieces in the meat. No injuries have been reported so far.
The USDA is warning institutions to check their freezers and avoid serving the product. Items should be thrown away or returned.
