ADRIAN — American 1 Credit Union has announced its 2025 Teacher Grant Program, pledging $5,000 to support local educators.
Ten teachers will be selected to receive $500 each for classroom improvements. The program is open to teachers in Jackson, Lenawee, Hillsdale, Calhoun, and Washtenaw counties.
Applications are now open and must be submitted online by August 15. Full details are available at american1cu.org/grants.
The program is part of American 1’s commitment to education and community outreach. Since 2004, the credit union has awarded over $266,000 in grants and scholarships to local teachers and students.
American 1 is also marking its 75th anniversary this year, serving more than 66,000 members with 16 branches across southern Michigan.
