ADRIAN — In honor of World Breastfeeding Month, the Community Action Agency and WIC are hosting a special event in Adrian focused on supporting new and expecting parents.
Titled “Supporting Generations: Breastfeeding Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,” the event will take place on Thursday, August 8th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Poplar Pavilion at Island Park, 1090 North Broad Street.
The afternoon will include breastfeeding testimonials, doula support info, free resources, food, and giveaways. Organizers say it’s open to parents, families, and anyone who supports breastfeeding.
