JACKSON — The Jackson County Military Coalition will hold its 3rd Annual Suicide Prevention Ruck March and Resource Fair on Saturday, September 6.
The Event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jackson Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 301 Detroit Street.
The 5K walk through downtown Jackson includes stops at Veterans Memorial Park and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 109. Participants can carry weighted packs to simulate military strain, but it’s not required.
The event honors the estimated 22 veterans lost to suicide daily, while raising awareness and connecting families with local support services.
A resource fair, classic car and motorcycle show, and food from the Eagles Kitchen will be featured.
