ADRIAN — The Lenawee Historical Museum is beginning a review of its clothing collection to remove damaged or duplicate items.
Over the years, many garments were donated without clear historical ties to Lenawee County or arrived in poor condition.
A small committee will sort through the collection, with some usable pieces offered to the Croswell Theater. Others may be donated to local charities or responsibly disposed of.
The museum says the effort will help free up storage space and make room for new exhibits.
Donors may be contacted regarding items marked for removal.
