Born on September 5, 1982, in Adrian, Michigan, Jon-Michael was the youngest son of Jeanne L. (Robinson) and James A. Ross, Sr. Having a house full of boys meant life was never dull or boring, there was always laughter or a prank being pulled on someone. Jon-Michael graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 2001.
Known for his outgoing personality and free spirit, Jon-Michael was not afraid to make his own path in life, which led to many adventures. He was a loyal Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles or anything with an engine. His interest in engines made Jon-Michael a natural for working as a car salesman and later as a truck driver. Jon-Michael was proud of his children, Konner and Keilan, whom he loved greatly.
In addition to his children, Jon-Michael will be missed by his family: father, James; brothers, Jim (Sarah) Ross and Rob (Tonya) Ross; nieces and nephews, Jimi Ross, Kaylee King, Jesi Ross, Owen Ross and Ethan Ross; aunts, uncles and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Ross-Bowerman; stepfather, Larry Bowerman; and infant brother, Jamie Ross.
There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; with a time to share memories and some of Jon-Michaels’ adventures starting at 1:00 p.m.
