Adrian to Bargain With Firefighters’ Union

ADRIAN — The Adrian City Commission will negotiate a collective bargaining agreement with the local chapter of the International Association of Firefighters at their next regular meeting tonight, July 7.

According to the meeting agenda, negotiations with the IAFF will be held at the start of the meeting, with the possibility of Commissioners going into closed session.

Later in the meeting, Commissioners will introduce ordinances to amend the city’s Fire Prevention Code and vote to approve the new agreement.

Commissioners are also expected to vote on a resolution to adopt a policy and procedure for the entry of names into Monument Park.
