TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh TEAM board has welcomed two new members following a leadership election held during the most recent board meeting.
The new members will serve a two-year term from July 2025 through June 2027. The election process involved local business and community representatives who voted to fill the open seats.
The addition of new board members ensures the TEAM board remains fully staffed and maintains the required quorum for making financial and operational decisions.
Board members emphasized the importance of strong leadership to support Tecumseh’s community events, marketing efforts, and economic development initiatives. The board plays a key role in planning and approving major projects, including local festivals, infrastructure investments, and downtown business promotions.
During the meeting, board members also completed standard agenda items, including financial approvals and updates on upcoming community events.
The board’s leadership structure is essential for keeping Tecumseh’s community calendar running smoothly, securing event sponsorships, and managing marketing and economic development strategies that benefit the local area.
The next Tecumseh TEAM board meeting is scheduled for August 7 at City Hall, where members will continue planning for the fall event season and receive updates on the ongoing downtown streetscape and parking lot projects.
Additional opportunities for community input and volunteer participation will be discussed in upcoming meetings.
