RONALD DAVID DICKERSON, age 84 of Tecumseh, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital, Adrian. He was born on September 22, 1940, in Ottawa Lake, the son of Walker John and Anna (Vince) Dickerson.
Ron served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Bertha May Warren on July 27, 1968, in Adrian. She survives. Ron was an extremely hard worker. He worked as a millwright at several local factories and farmed. He retired from factory work in 2003 and farmed until he was 78 years old. Ron started his working days delivering milk for Trilby Dairy, then onto Blissfield Manufacturing, Budd Company, Meyers Industries and O & S Manufacturing.
Ron enjoyed participating in pony pulling from 1965-1968, going to Antique Tractor Shows and was a big fan of Allis-Chalmers tractors.
Surviving Ron is his wife, Bertha, two sons, Ron (Denise Oudekerk) Dickerson and Eric Dickerson, six grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob, Grace, Peyten, Annaka and Reyna, one brother, Albert Dickerson, five sisters, Christina Jacobs, Margaret Thede, Gloria Jean Morton, Susie Adsit and Patricia Dickerson, one brother-in-law, Gary (Carol) Wilder and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Robert (Charlene) Dickerson, Walter Dickerson, Jr., Frank (Rose) Dickerson, and John Dickerson, a sister, Betty Lou Wilder and three brothers-in-law, Delbert Jacobs, George Morton and Mark Adsit.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh, on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 4-7 P.M. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian.
