Former Clinton Police Chief Tony Cuevas Remembered for Service and Family

TECUMSEH — Funeral arrangements have been made for Milton “Tony” Cuevas, the former Chief of Police for Clinton, who has passed away at the age of 53.

He served 24 years with the Michigan State Police and later became the Chief of Police for the Clinton Police Department, where he led for six years. He was a member of the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police and founded the Criminal Justice Club at Clinton High School to mentor students.

Tony is remembered for his devotion to his family. He especially enjoyed working alongside his children on home projects.

The family will receive friends at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Tecumseh on Friday, June 27, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 28, at Clinton High School beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lenawee County Memorial Gardens for family and close friends.
