Elisabeth “Betsy” Kyung Soon Ross, age 51 of Adrian, passed away on June 21, 2025, under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Lenawee.
She was born on July 4, 1973, in Pusan, South Korea and was later adopted by Dr. William and Barbara Ross. Betsy grew up in Adrian and graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1991. She then attended Michigan State University and graduated from Jackson Community College with an associate degree. Betsy was employed at Wal-Mart as a manager of online sales, a job she took great pride in. She enjoyed crocheting and watching NFL and MSU football games in her free time. Betsy was a kind and caring person who was an animal lover, especially dogs. She also loved traveling to Florida to visit Disney World and had traveled to Europe and China.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Barbara Ross along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Montiel Dull; paternal grandparents, Charles and Blanche Ross; father, Dr. William Ross; and sister, Brenda Ross.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian. A celebration of life will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Alice Ford and Pastor Christopher Brundage officiating. The family will receive guests in the Heritage Room at Wagley Funeral Home for a luncheon immediately following the celebration.
