Philip Dean Siegel – Pittsford

Philip Dean Siegel, age 81, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 14, 1943, to Jackson J. and Genevieve (Fidler) Siegel at the old hospital in Hudson, Michigan.

Philip was a Pittsford High School graduate. He married the love of his life, Sandy (Hollstein) Siegel on June 7, 1964, she survives. The two of them spent 61 wonderful years together. Philip enjoyed farming and farmed most of his life in the Waldron, MI area. He was a very hard worker, doing road construction for Thompson McCully for 20 years and drove truck for B&H Industries for 23 years. He loved to serve the lord, that called him to take several mission trips to Haiti, and Mexico. Philip was president of the Waldron Tractor Club. He never missed the National Threshers Association Reunion at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon, OH. Most of all he loved his horses.

Left to cherish the memory of Philip are his wife, Sandy; children, James (Dana), Dale and Patti; 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Jean Lettur, Judy Siegel and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and an hour prior to the service. Funeral service will take place at the Brown-VanHemert Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Kim Repp officiating. Burial will follow at Lickely Corners in Pittsford, Michigan.
