TECUMSEH — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a non-life-threatening shooting that took place June 5 in the Standish Dam area of Tecumseh.

According to the Tecumseh Police Department, a 26-year-old Tecumseh man was taken into custody on June 10 following an investigation into the incident. Officers initially responded to a report of a gunshot victim near the 9000 block of North Union Street, though the location of the shooting was later confirmed as the Standish Dam area on Burt Street.

The suspect is currently lodged at the Lenawee County Jail pending arraignment on multiple felony charges. His arrest follows the earlier apprehension of a 31-year-old Tecumseh man on the day of the incident. That individual is also being held at the county jail on felony charges.

Both arrests stem from a case that involved conflicting location reports and an extensive follow-up by Tecumseh Police investigators. Law enforcement believes all individuals involved have been identified, but the investigation remains active.

Authorities urge anyone with additional information about the June 5 incident to contact Detective Ondrovick at 517-423-7494, extension 218.
