Timothy J Peterson, age 58 years of Clear Lake Indiana, passed away at home on April 28, 2025. He was born on June 14, 1966, in Addison Mi, the son of Maynard & Barbara (Ostrander) Peterson.

Tim graduated from Hudson High school in 1985 and was a member of the Hudson High School Band. He studied business at Jackson Community College. He married Michelle Bowers and later divorced but remained good friends. Tim owned and operated Lenawee Title Agency and eventually retired.

Tim enjoyed his retired days with his partner Bruce D Spangler at Clear Lake Indiana and was a member of the Clear Lake Yacht Club, joining various activities. Tim was an avid cyclist and used to cycle 20-30 miles a day. Tim loved to cook and was most famous for his Christmas cookies, deviled eggs, spaghetti bake, and chocolate caramel apples.

Tim had a flair for entertainment and loved to have fun at the lake, with great food, drinks, and those long engaging boat rides. There was never a dull moment around Tim, and he made sure everyone was having a good time.

Tim was a loving partner, son, brother, uncle and friend who will dearly be missed by all.

He is survived by his life partner Bruce Spangler, mother, Barbara Peterson and 2 siblings, Laurie (Chris) Malarney of Hudson and Travis (Laura) Peterson of Jackson, 4 nephews, Jordan Roberts (SC), Tyler (Haley) Roberts of (AZ), and Noah Malarney of Kalamazoo and Graham Peterson of Jackson

He was preceded in death by his father, Maynard Peterson and brother, Michael Peterson. Memorials in Tim’s name can be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Family and friends will gather at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. to remember and celebrate Tim’s life. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Clear Lake Lutheran Cemetery, 270 Outher Drive Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana 46737.
