Karen Marie Auten, age 66, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on May 25, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Born June 3, 1958, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Auten.
Karen dedicated over thirty-five years of her life to nursing, caring for others with compassion. She was an avid traveler, visiting over forty countries, and loved snorkeling and exploring the reefs of the world.
Karen is survived by her brother, Keith (Bonnie) Auten, sister Kathy (David) Koertge, nephews Derek and Brian, and nieces Kellie, Jaime, and Kristie. She was also blessed with lifelong friends who were like family to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
