ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Spring Collection Event is happening this weekend on Saturday, May 31.
Need to do some spring cleaning? This weekend is the time to start by bringing your tires and shipping supplies for disposal. Happening from 8 a.m. until noon, this event is open to all Lenawee County residents — because, in Lenawee, we believe proper disposal of items is essential for the health and safety of our community and environment.
The event will be at the Lenawee County Fair Grounds and is hosted by the Lenawee County Solid Waste Department. Residents are encouraged to bring items such as:
- Scrap tires
- Proof of residency
- Shipping foam
- Reusable packing supplies
A quick reminder: the recycling center is open daily for residents to drop off cardboard, plastics, glass, and aluminum cans.
