ADRIAN — The search for Adrian’s next city administrator officially has a price tag — and a path forward.
City Commissioners voted to move ahead with a base contract from Yeo & Yeo HR Advisory Solutions, the firm selected to lead the hiring process. The agreement outlines a $19,500 cost to manage the recruitment process and provide candidate evaluations.
Commissioners made clear the city will take a phased approach, sticking to essentials for now.
An additional $2,000 was approved for Yeo & Yeo to gather input from local stakeholders, including questions that could feed into Adrian’s long-term strategic plan. Those conversations will take place during the recruitment phase.
Other optional services, like project management and leadership coaching, were tabled for future discussion.
The approved contract moves the administrator search one step closer to finding Adrian’s next top official — with broader planning efforts still to come.
