Jodie K. Rowley, age 68, of Camden, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Jodie was born on December 20, 1956, in Howell, Michigan, to Donald Leroy and Geraldine (Taylor) Kelley. On April 16, 1977, Jodie married George Rowley Jr. in Prattville, Michigan, and he survives. Jodie enjoyed doing crafts and working on word searches and crossword puzzles, she also loved to read. Jodie was an avid collector of anything with an elephant on it. Jodie also enjoyed cooking and baking and watching cooking shows where she would get her next idea of what she wanted to try making.
In addition to her husband, George, Jodie is survived by her children: Charles Walter, Summer Walter, Stephanie (Dusty) Boggess, Robert Day, Emmily Tavernier, Tiffany Tavernier, William Boggess, Anastasia Boggess, Dawn (Adam) Knight, Natashia (Kelly) Walter; grandchildren: Zoie Walter, Samantha Walter, Dominic Sumner, Melody Walter, Tori Walter, Dahne Rowley – Williams, Triston Walter. and several nieces and nephews. Jodie is preceded in death by her parents: In-laws George Rowley Sr. and Carolyn Raymond, child: Tamera (Ken) Harrah, Samuel Walter, ; siblings, Lawrence Kelley, and Terri Kier; Best Friend: Anita (Claude) Walter.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson, on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm.
