ADRIAN — Lenawee County has greenlit over $3.9 million in voucher payments.
The Accounts Payable Committee moved nearly $4 million Thursday — and that’s just the start of the county’s May spending.
The committee approved $3.9 million in total payments, with $229,000 pulled from the general fund. Expenses ranged from child welfare costs to court fees, building maintenance tools, and even a $25,000 sheriff’s department line item.
Commissioners approved the motion without objection after a rapid-fire review of individual line items and brief clarification from county staff.
