ADRIAN — Three new faces are joining Lenawee County’s boards and committees after a unanimous vote on May 13.
The latest round of appointments includes expertise in mental health, aging services, and public safety. The Personnel/Ways & Means Committee reviewed and approved the applications during its regular meeting, advancing them to the full Board of Commissioners for final confirmation. The appointments reflect a mix of professional experience and district representation, with a focus on enhancing community engagement across multiple departments.
Tim Kelly was appointed as the mental health representative on the Bridging the Gap Opioid Subcommittee. Kelly brings more than 30 years of human services experience.
Julie Hackett was appointed to the Lenawee Department on Aging to represent Commission District 3. Denice Combs was named to the Emergency 911 District Board, filling the long-vacant general public seat — an important step in diversifying perspectives on emergency response oversight.
