ADRIAN — For the second year in a row, Julie Koehn has been named one of the 75 Most Influential Women in Radio — a national honor from Radio Ink magazine that highlights industry leaders across the country.

Koehn, who serves as President and General Manager of Lenawee Broadcasting, was once again included in Radio Ink’s annual list, now in its 26th year. The publication launched the feature in 1999 to spotlight women shaping the future of radio — through leadership, innovation, and long-haul dedication to the craft.

With 40 years in the business, Koehn wears multiple hats. She’s been at the helm of Lenawee Broadcasting since 1990 and added Southeast Michigan Media to her roster in 2020. She sits on several national and state boards — including the National Association of Broadcasters, the Radio Advertising Bureau, and the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. She also leads the Board of Directors for the International Broadcasters Idea Bank. Her accolades include a Lifetime Achievement Award and a spot in the MAB Hall of Fame.

The May issue of Radio Ink shines a national spotlight on the women behind the mic, at the boardroom table, and in the trenches of day-to-day operations — recognizing those still pushing radio forward, one broadcast at a time.
