TECUMSEH — A group of Tecumseh High School students are now world travelers, having recently returned from a class trip to Spain.
THS Foreign Language Teacher Valerie Poupard and three of her students presented a slideshow of their trip to the school board at their regular meeting last night.
The students each commented on their favorite parts of the trip, which included several intensive classes taught entirely in Spanish, and answered questions from the board.
Poupard thanked the Tecumseh Rotary for paying for lunches and bus passes for the trip, and even compensating for one student’s lost luggage.
Another, longer trip scheduled for June 2026 is being discussed among the teachers.
