ADRIAN — Lenawee County Commissioner Jim Van Doren is calling for a better system to help departments track the status of their facility repair and upgrade requests.
Speaking during last week’s Physical Resources Committee meeting, Van Doren said several employees expressed concern about not knowing where their requests stood in the queue or when to expect a response.
Facilities staff acknowledged the concern and said they currently respond to requests via phone or email but agreed to explore ways to improve communication and transparency.
Van Doren suggested a ticketing or priority system to help departments follow their projects from submission to completion.
