ADRIAN, Mich. — It’s graduation season across Lenawee County, and three local colleges are preparing to honor the Class of 2025.

Jackson College will hold its commencement on Saturday, May 3, at the Harold Sheffer Music Hall inside the George E. Potter Center. Two ceremonies are planned — the first at 9 a.m. for Allied Health, Business and Computer Technology, and Social Sciences graduates. The second begins at 1 p.m. for students in Liberal Arts, STEM, Agriculture, and Skilled Trades. The college expects about 300 graduates between the two sessions.

Siena Heights University will also host its graduation on Saturday in Adrian. The event will include both undergraduate and graduate students who finished in 2024 or are graduating this year. Diplomas will be mailed to all graduates by the end of May.

Adrian College will close out the weekend with its Spring Commencement on Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m. Michigan Congressman John James will deliver the keynote address. James is a military veteran, former CEO, and current U.S. Representative for Michigan’s 10th District.

Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates from WLEN.
