Brenda Sue Romanowski, age 66, passed away on April 15, 2025, in Morenci, Michigan. Born on October 30, 1958, in Hudson, Michigan, to Lionel Jack Jewell and Janice Merideth (Whitehead) Jewell.
Brenda was a skilled laborer having worked for Waldron Industries, Kamco Industries and Homer Donaldson Co. throughout her career. On August 28, 2007, Brenda married her husband, Michael Romanowski, in Sevier County, Tennessee he preceded her in death. When she wasn’t working Brenda cherished spending time and going places with her family, especially her sister Jackie. She enjoyed planting and maintaining her flower garden. Brenda collected Bigfoot memorabilia. One of her greatest joys was just hanging out with her beloved dog “Chewy”.
Left to honor Brenda’s memory are her sons; Michael (Vicky) Goodlock and Marty (Nelly) Goodlock, as well as her stepsons, Tom (Trina) Romanowski, Bob (Stacy) Romanowski, and Mark (Allison) Romanowski; grandchildren, Victoria (Cody) Head, Robyn (Harley) Goodlock, Hunter Goodlock, Tianna (Jake) Bell; great-grandchildren, Savannah Head, Jude Bell; nephew, Jeremy (Ashley) Flickinger; great-nephews, Hoyt, Gunner; great-nieces, Huntsleigh, Remington; siblings, Tim (Tammy) Jewell and Jacqueline (Gailyn) Flickinger. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Michael, and her son, Matthew Goodlock.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Hudson Community Center, on Friday April 25, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made The Humaine Society, Hillsdale or Lenawee.
