Tena Charlene (Osbon) Smith, age 61, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on March 31st, 2025. Tena was born February 21st, 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Anna (Folkes) Martin and Charles Osbon. She went to school in Arkansas and later moved to Michigan. She was married to James Pomeroy and together they had three children: Joshua, Jason, and Stephanie. She then was married to John “Marty” Smith and together they had a daughter, Amy. Later on, she married James Thompson. She enjoyed watching tv, looking at nature, and listening to music. She loved jewelry, lilac trees, the color purple, cats, and dogs. Tena is survived by her husband, James Thompson; son, Joshua Pomeroy (Jacklynn); son, Jason Pomeroy (Audrey); daughter, Stephanie Jackson (Walter); daughter, Amy Peyron (Walter); step-daughter, Candace Smith; step-daughter, Suzie Birky; step-daughter, Anthana Thompson; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Anna Martin (Danny); brother, Douglas Osbon; sister, Dawala Patton; sister, Elaine Hauser; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Osbon; brother, Terry Hauser II; granddaughter, Leah Pomeroy; and great-granddaughter, Alani Vaca.
