Adrian, MI – Adrian College President Dr. Jeffrey Docking recently delivered the annual State of the College address under the theme “A Legacy of Excellence: A Future of Promise.”
He highlighted academic and athletic successes from the current school year, and laid out plans for what’s ahead in 2025 and beyond. Docking praised the college’s ability to maintain strong enrollment, welcoming 600 new freshmen last fall from 39 states, 22 countries, and six Canadian provinces…even as Michigan faces a decline in high school graduates.
The college continues to expand academic offerings, including new majors in commercial music, cybersecurity, nutrition, AI-driven management, and business analytics. New master’s programs, artificial intelligence and finance, are also on the way.
